2004年，在老庙不远处动工新建了一座颇具现代建筑风格的宏伟大殿——大经堂，该大殿工程巨大，主体为钢混结构，所有墙体均为花岗石砌成，经堂正门为四根巨大的缕空雕刻的龙抱柱，四幅巨大的四大天王壁画，经堂廊内有四根20米高的汉白玉正方形大柱，上面的雕刻精纶无比，经堂内所有木制装饰材料为加拿大进口白木包括柱子、梁、天花……全部采用高浮雕雕刻，图案为昂伍尼玛老师亲自手绘传承了1400年历史的图案，再在上面彩绘唐卡的做法，经堂灯光设计通透明亮，经堂内八尊金佛来自于尼泊尔，房顶全部采用木雕彩绘唐卡贴金，远远望去金碧辉煌。

Eight golden Buddhas in the Sutra hall come from Nepal. The roof of the house is all decorated with Thangka in wood carvings and pasted with gold, which looks splendid from afar.
